Melbourne Acquisitions is pleased to confirm the sale of the former Kealba Secondary College at 27 Driscolls Road, Kealba, which was facilitated by agents Dominic Gibson and Steven Messina (under instructions from the Department of Treasury and Finance) on behalf of the Minister for Education.
There was a high level of enquiry received for the site and a total of 11 tender bids received, resulting in a final price of $24,165,000.
Managing Director Dominic Gibson has said that during the campaign “buyer interest was positive from many local private and ASX listed developers, with some interest also shown from Asian based buyers. It is clear from this sale, as well as other negotiations with buyers for our current listings, that there is still high demand in the market for quality commercial assets and residential development sites.”
- Kealba is the third of five sites marked for sale by the government in the Brimbank area to be successfully sold
- The former Deer Park Primary School site in Ballarat Road for $11.5 million and the former Keilor Park Primary school site in Eliza Street for $9.65 million
- The properties were all sold through tender campaigns
